The Southeast Region continues to lead in National Headquarter's effort in offering ARCHER recurrency training. This recurrency training is designed to make sure all of our ARCHER Operators have an opportunity for time with the equipment and time for training to help keep our staff of operators mission ready. Fiscal year 2010 will be a continuation of the training recieved in fiscal year 2009.
ELIGIBILITY:
All current ARCHER Operators, Trac Technicians
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
SER will plan to hold a couple training weekends spread across the region in 2010. Plan on being a part of all three days of the mission. SER Operations staff will publish dates and locations soon in order for you to prepare advanced planning to attend one of these events. Training will begin on time at 1800 Friday night local time. All operators will need to be a part of the classroom portion on Friday night prior to the flying and ground station functions performed on Saturday and Sunday. All members will need to bring a laptop with them as a part of the class. To be classified as re-current in fulfillment of the ARCHER letter for 60-1 of June, 2008, all Operators will have to show proficiency on all three pieces of ARCHER equipment. These weekends are designed to provide you the perfect environment to achieve that goal.
